At EVOLVE Mental Health & Wellness all services are provided by highly-trained licensed professionals. Services include psychological assessments and psychotherapy.
Psychological Assessments include a short-term process that looks to help answer a specific question and provide guidance for future psychological treatment, medical care, or legal decisions from a psychological perspective. An assessment may consist of an interview, as well as questionnaires and other testing measures, in order to make appropriate recommendations for your further care or to explain your current psychological state. Generally, assessments are completed in one to three sessions depending upon the complexity of the issues at hand.
Psychotherapy is a dynamic process that includes regular meetings with the intention of helping you bring changes you desire to your life. Sessions may be with just one individual, a couple, or with a family, depending upon the circumstances. Psychotherapy requires open participation and working on changes both within and outside of the therapeutic setting at a pace that works for you. The role of the therapist is to guide you in discovering what you would like to change, what might be getting in the way, and what path will help you achieve your goals.
The first few sessions will involve an evaluation of your needs. By the end of the evaluation period, your therapist will be able to offer you some initial impressions of how your work together would be helpful and some of the difficulties that may be addressed in continued therapy. Therapy involves a significant investment of time, money, and energy, so you should think carefully about making this commitment.

Because we aim to provide the highest standard of care, we are not on insurance panels. In other words, we are not “in network” with any insurance company. This means your insurance company does not get to dictate the work we do together.
We are out of network with most insurance companies. This means you can be reimbursed for some or all of the session fee. Based on our clients’ feedback, they are generally reimbursed at a rate of 70-80% (and in some cases, 100%). Prior to starting, contact your insurance company directly and ask about your out-of-network behavioral health benefits to learn more about your specific coverage.
Once you start therapy, we will provide the necessary documentation for you to submit for insurance reimbursement. If you have any questions about this process or would like us to help guide you through it, please feel free to contact us. We are happy to help.
Individual therapy sessions are offered as 50-minute or 75-minute sessions.
Couples and family therapy sessions are offered as 75-minute sessions.
All sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform to optimize your safety, privacy, and convenience.

It depends on your goals of therapy and personal preference. Some issues can be effectively treated with brief therapy (8-12 sessions), while others require longer term or ongoing therapy.
